As it turned out, it was not that simple. What they wanted was a complete set of cards, vouchers, labels, token gifts, digital signage, invitations, and packaging. Don't get me wrong, I was more than excited to move on this project. I started with the card. I sent the team a handful of design options ranging from full corporate to fun and fresh. Lucky for me, they chose rich and sleek!
Each milestone year has its own color scheme modeled after anniversary stones. Turquoise and gold, blue and silver, copper and ruby, gold and emerald, silver and Applied Medical teal, and mother of pearl.

Each Anniversary Packet came with a token gift for the milestone year. Below is a sample of gifts chosen for the first rollout of the project.
To celebrate with the team, each anniversary packet recipient would be invited to a luncheon or dinner (save for the 5 year milestone, which received a lunch voucher to be redeemed at Quick Bites Cafe, our food service in the Company Store).
Paper invitations were also accompanied by a digital invitation. For this, I created an Outlook template for the Hospitality team to fill out whenever a luncheon or dinner was scheduled.
Once the project was complete, I collected all printed materials and combined them in a booklet for the requester to have. Though she did not ask for one, it was a step I thought would benefit her and her team for the duration of this project (which was projected to be included in team member benefits indefinitely). It included instructions on printing with reference ID numbers, materials, and quantities. It also detailed some information to pass along to vendors for token gifts.
She was over the moon for this, which reinforced my passion for using design to create joy. View some screenshots from the booklet below.
